Hollywood to Palm Springs!

So, it was last weekend that I did this. I guess I should’ve posted it earlier, but I didn’t have time. LOL. You know how summer is, right? Friends, beach, theme parks, fun…

Anyways, last weekend…was one to remember. I went to freakin’ Palm Springs! Haha. Hence the title of this blog post. I didn’t go just to have fun or to just walk the streets of downtown Palm Springs and shop ’til my fingers turned the color of my tongue because of all the heavy bags I was carrying. No, it was nothing like that…Although, my fingers turning red really doesn’t compare to the clothes I bought. LOL. I went to shoot my When I’m 18 Rock Version music video with ONE11!

Boy, was it crazy or what?! First of all, I wanna say that Palm Springs has a great sense of style and is so hot…literally…it’s so hot. I didn’t know how I was gonna survive the day of shooting in the 100 degree weather, which is considered “nice” in the area. I was so excited the night before, though, that I didn’t even think about that. It took me forever to fall asleep that night, but the bed was so soft I couldn’t resist.

When the next day finally came, I woke up with tons of energy and ready for some fun in the (blazing) sun. The boys were hyped and the crew was ready, and so was I.

We shot the music video on a ranch, which we all like to call “Chateau Relaxo.” Hahaha.  I definitely understood where the name came from. Anyways, it was a huge estate with, like, a gagillion acres. We were able to go around the ranch and just shoot silly things in random little places. It was loads of fun. It didn’t even feel like work. It was just like a huge party.

I think one of the best parts about the music video, though, came later in the day. ONE11 had invited some people to be in the music video and that’s when the real party started. Everywhere I looked, I saw ONE11 fans and supporters everywhere. Granted there weren’t too many guys, but girls rule better anyways. Haha. All these people came for ONE11, and I was scared that they wouldn’t like me. I knew I had to impress them in the first take.

The director yelled action and we all blasted. It was a performance scene. We were in the actual ranch…the backyard of it, with the pool and grass…It was a party. ONE11 and I were performing while all the people were sitting around us, rockin’ out to the music. It was so awesome. They all loved it and they all supported us, and there’s nothing better you could ask for. So, we just went crazy and had fun with it. Some people jumped in the pool and it was just awesome.

At the end of the day, it was just a party. It wasn’t a music video shoot anymore. I had made new friends and we all went swimming and exchanged Facebook stuff. Hahaha. Another favorite part of the day. Now I can’t wait to see the music video, though. The director said it would probably be done in the next two weeks, but I really don’t think I have that much patience. LOL. The video above is a sneak peak of what we did that day, though.

All I can say is keep it up. Some professional bloggers post three or four times a day on their blogs, simply because this constant addition of new content helps them to get regular readers.
